Successfully tested BrahMos missile in India amidst tension from neighboring countries. Or the examination was done in Balasore, Defense Research and Development Organization, Odisha. The special thing is that this missile has been tested with indigenous boosters and airframes.
After the successful test of the BrahMos missile, the DRDO chairman congratulated all the scientists and informed that this upgraded version of the BrahMos supersonic missile has already used indigenous boosters and airframes, and further indigenous items will be installed.
Features of BrahMos missile
India and Russia together built this missile. It is named after the holy rivers of both countries.
The holy river of India is named after the Brahmaputra and the holy river of France, Muscava.
